combination
COMBINATION OF
INJECTABLE and MEMBRANE WATERPROOFING
WHAT IS combination?
If a structure has significant cracks or gaps that require injectable waterproofing, but also has a large surface area that needs to be waterproofed, a combination of both techniques maybe used.
In some cases, it may be necessary to use both techniques in combination to provide complete waterproofing protection.
In such cases, injectable waterproofing would be used to seal the cracks and gaps, while membrane waterproofing would be applied to the larger surface area to create a seamless and comprehensive waterproofing barrier.
Why SNSeal is the Preferred Injectable Waterproofing Solution
At Stop & Seal, we exclusively use SNSeal Injectable Sealant for all injectable waterproofing applications. Whether the job is small-scale or a large, complex structure, SNSeal delivers consistent, high-performance results.
Engineered for challenging conditions, SNSeal is injected under high-pressure to deeply penetrate cracks and gaps, forming a robust, flexible barrier that permanently prevents water ingress.
Proven effectiveness in new and existing structures
Ideal for large-scale waterproofing projects
For both preventive and remedial applications
Expert Application By Stop & Seal Tradesmen
The Difference
Unlike traditional injection products like Foam, Resin, or Polyurethane, SNSeal stands out in several key ways:
Performs in Wet or Saturated Conditions
Can be injected into active leaks and underwater environments.
No Excavation Required
Ideal for occupied spaces or areas with limited external access.
Fast & Clean Application
Minimal disruption to operations or occupants.
Deep Penetration Where Others Fail
Thanks to its low viscosity, SNSeal is able to penetrate much deeper into cracks, crevices, and gaps compared to other injection products on the market. This ensures more thorough coverage and more effective sealing
Targeted, Precise Application
Our custom pumps ensure every injection point receives the exact amount of product needed to form an airtight seal.
Unmatched Flexibility & Adhesion
Once cured, the rubber-like consistency of SNSeal provides unprecedented flexibility and adhesion. Unlike foam or resin, SNSeal is designed to handle the natural expansion and contraction of building substrates, maintaining a tight, durable seal over time, far beyond the limitations of competing products and their warranties.
Mould & Microorganism Resistance
Developed with a high ammonia content, SNSeal actively prevents future growth of mould, fungi, and other microorganisms. This ensures that your waterproofing solution not only prevents water ingress but also protects against the growth of harmful bacteria and other contaminants.
The Process
How We Apply SNSeal High-Pressure Injectable Sealant
Our 5-Step Process ensures precision and a high-quality finish:
Surface preparation
The surface to be waterproofed is cleaned and prepared to ensure that it is free of debris, dust, and other contaminants.
1
Crack identification
The cracks and gaps in the surface areidentified and evaluated to determine the best injection strategy.
2
Injection hole drilling
A single Injection hole is core drilledbeside the crack to allow for the injection of the Stop and Sealwaterproofing material.
3
Injection
The waterproofing material is injected into the cracksor gaps under pressure, filling the crack and sealing the surface.
4
Cure time
We then spray the injected fluid with a chemical tomake the Stop and Seal waterproofing “go off” and fill the crackwith a solid rubber.Injectable waterproofing may be required when a structure.

Common Application Areas
SNSeal performs exceptionally well across a wide range of structural elements:
Basement Waterproofing
Addressing active leaks in commercial and residential basement structures during or after excavation.
Lift Pits & Elevator Shafts
Prevent water intrusion in these often challenging-to-reach areas.
Podiums, Planters & Rooftops
Ideal for sealing rooftop structures and planters prone to water leaks.
Concrete Slabs and Roofs
Waterproof these surfaces to fend off moisture infiltration and prevent water damage.
Construction Joints
Treat expansion joints that can be vulnerable to water ingress over time.
Underground Structures
Secure tunnels and subway stations where water ingress poses unique challenges.
Foundation Wall Sealing
Seal against groundwater seepage to protect foundational integrity.
Car Parks & Ramps
Waterproof car park slabs and ramps to protect against water damage.
Retaining Wall Waterproofing
Treating cracked or leaking concrete and block retaining walls with non-invasive sealant systems.
FAQS
Have Questions
We’ve heard it all. Here’s everything you need to know before working with us.
Injectable waterproofing can be used on structures at any stage of construction, though it’s most commonly applied to existing buildings as a remedial solution. It’s often recommended for structures showing signs of water damage or leaks, such as wall cracks, construction joints, or pipe penetrations.
For existing structures, the process can be more complex, as Stop and Seal may need to remove materials or make modifications to inject the waterproofing into areas like basement walls, floor slabs, or lift pits.
